LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT.

“Mi Ma wu dumso” Mr. President,

It is with a kind heart at which I address you today, I am a young citizen of this nation, who has this country’s progress at heart. Before I proceed, how are you doing your Excellency? What about Aunty Lordina and the kids?
Well, I know the harsh conditions in the country aren’t affecting them at all, because I know they are obviously well.

Your Excellency, since you acceded the seat of Presidency, I haven’t had the time to congratulate you. For your double sweet victory or so it seems, both on the voting day and the Supreme Court judgment day. Please allow me seize the opportunity to do so now. I was extremely excited over your campaign, its “Edey Beee K3k3” slogan, the songs, the manifesto, etc..
If I may, I would like to say, that I am one of few Ghanaians who voted you into power, who is still in a dilemma whether I made a savory choice or not, well for now I retire that to posterity.

Mr. President, I have some few concerns I would like to express, please sir, my language in this letter depicts the actual condition I face as a citizen.
I do appreciate your intended effort in solving our impediments for us but please wait oo, can you pin point the people, who enjoyed chewing the meat, leaving the bones for us Ghanaians to droll over? Hmmmm!

The state of our nation has been deplorable since your government took office; I am not oblivious of the fact that you took office right after the demise of John the third, the Late Prof. Mills and the brouhaha that surrounded your election which was contested in the court.

Mr. President, I can see your government hasn’t been infamous at all when it comes to market fires, scandals and corruptions etc. First off, I will like us to throw some more light on the already glooming scandals; I must commend you for the over-hauled system of forming fruitless committees whenever there’s a problem. But Sir, Na Who Cause Am?

It appears the people you entrusted your hopes to help you accomplish your manifesto, "Apuu mƐ manifesto" which I vehemently doubt if there’s any, isn’t helping you at all, from Zoomlion, RLG, GYEEDA, SUBAH and almighty GRA etc.
We need swift actions and not fruitless talks. Oh it looks like I left out the Akonfem Saga too.

Mr. President, Na Sika Nu Wo Hi? Are we leaving these people to squander our money without any punishment just like that? I suggest that you allow us the citizens, to a mass flogging of all these people mentioned in the reports for stealing or sorry misappropriating state funds at Rawlings Park in Accra.

The taxpayer wakes up every morning, disappointed with the endless and countless “Wahala” your government is exposed to and how lavishly your ministers enjoy, when we all sat here and watched, when and how disgracefully some fared in the appointment committee seating. And now all those people are ministers, how do you expect any restful sleep, when your cabinet is filled with power-drunk, corrupt, selfish, unpatriotic, greedy, block-headed, myopic thinkers and egoistic ministers, your sleepless nights won't be a new phenomenon, when you have turned a deaf ear and blindfolded your eyes to see the clearly demarcated line that is leading to the collapse of this country.

 In my own estimation, we have lost over Ghc 144million as a country, to scandals and the lack of professionalism and nationalism by your subordinates in discharging of their duties, and this you and I know, it is a small fraction of the whole sum if well calculated.
Should I say then, that your government has shown clearly acts of negligence and incompetence, on the part of the so-called officers of state, who should be working in our interest, but rather they have chosen their stomachs over the country?
For example the MP’s who have exorbitantly increased their wages while living freely in state bungalows, without paying any utility charges and still have the guts to demand for security protection, all I will say to them is God is watching.

Your Excellency, how far have you dealt with the claims of Mr. Alban Bagbin? Hehehe “Atinga bƐ yere Atinga” in this instance I would borrow the favorite quotes of Fmr. Prez. J.J Rawlings “abua bi bƐ ka wua na Ɔfra ŋtuma” this needs no further translation as it has been significantly used over the years.  I must exclusively affirm that I was however disappointed in the manner at which you replied him, it makes me doubt if truly you are a “father” because if any of your sons complain of stomach ache and you devour his plea by locking up the washroom then “ese woara”. Remember that he is or was part of the “three wise men” that you have channeled the priority projects to. By the way, how far with two hundred schools you promised? Ayoo.

Your Excellency, the country has been highly intoxicated with a pungent smell of corruption scandals, strikes, demonstrations, high increase of taxes and no show, leaks and what have you.
Talking about leaks let me say that I was one of the millions who knew she carried a lot of trouble with her always, judging from her….hehehe
I heard how you swiftly fired Victoria Hammer, for her “vickyleaks” secrets Eeeiii! “Vicky, wu tu nu nu, wala wu zi” hehehe. That not with-standing, I would like to know if truly you asked Nana Oye Lithur, to go see the “Cats” in their chambers or not?
Your Excellency “Won ko wo sem pa”

I would also like to stress out this few things with you before I end my letter,
Mr. President, the on-going road projects have sparked wild fire from angry commuters, who truly understand the percentages of work done by commuting daily to conduct their business.
 As for Mr. Felix Kwashie Ofosu, the least said about him the better, please tell him that the speed at which he drives to work, without been stopped by any traffic nor even feel the heavy depths of the potholes should be enough reason that he doesn’t feel the pain, heat and stress as much as we do.
If you care to know most of the youth and citizen of this nation like myself are getting highly agitated by these trend of events and the sooner you step up your game the better.

And to General Nunoo Mensah, he should understand that some of us do know what real patriotism is, and not the likes of him who will run out of the country like chickens been scattered by the shadows of a crow. He should be spoken to that “opanin a Ɔtinasi ema nmofra ere nanka no, ye bu nanka re foƆa oka hu”.

I would like to conclude on a sad note, our hospitals aren’t functioning like they should, the sting in Accra too is understandable, as the AMA boss isn’t putting effective measures in place to solve this canker, I doubt if he sees properly with the way his beard has covered a large portion of his face, “Atta Oko” kƐ efea shƐ oshƐŋ”.

Even though we scored Egypt massively, we still know that the money you promised or gave the Black stars is too much, whiles schools, hospitals are other sectors for development need help. A word to the wise in enough.
I pray my letter to you, swerves your able lieutenants with sharp-teeth’s and greedy bastards.

I would like to quote you sir “that if the Yutong bus driver is sleeping give him coffee”  but remember 2016 is still larking around the corner.
